Sending an SMS via Email
Before you start
Here are some things to ensure before you begin this process.
- You have subscribed to an SMS plan. Here’s how to subscribe to a monthly SMS plan.
- You must also have sufficient credits in your account. Here’s how to add credits to your account.
- Your account is active, and your email address has also been allowed to send and receive SMS. Contact your team owner regarding your account’s current settings and permissions.
Sending an SMS via Email
To send SMS through email, follow these steps.
- In your email client, Compose a new email.
- In the To field, enter the recipient’s SMS mobile number followed by @sms.[brandname].com. For example: 61491570156@sms.monopond.com.
- Write the content of the SMS in the body or the subject of the email. You may contact your team owner regarding your default Email to SMS settings.
- Send the email.
The delivery status of your message will be sent through your email shortly.
